We moved to Prague……time of change

New city, new life, new start

Never get stucked… keep moving.

That is certainly the motto according to which we are living our life with Carlos and our darlings. I just wanted to share with you a little from our life story.

How the family Botero moved to Prague

After three weeks of partial packing, and putting things to the bags and boxes, (while Eduardo was taking them out and putting them to the previous place) I managed to move all our stuff to Prague. I went with Carlitos 5 times to Prague just on our own. And also once we drove a big truck stuffed with boxes together. I was a bit funny truck driver I guess, because on the petrol station while getting out I was carrying a baby on my shoulder and instead of taking coffee and a snack I was sitting on the bench to feed Carlito while eating an ice cream to kill my gravies 🙂

Carlos was playing an important role of unpacking everything from the boxes and bags, but he got stucked with the feeling of loneliness after few days, so in the end we were unpacking our things another 2 weeks here in Prague piece by piece together with kids. But in the end it was fun too……….Edie loves plastic bags and he perfectly fits there.

What was new for me

  • f…k I can not go any more by “Ĺ alina” …… but I have to use “Tramvaj” instead…. but I promised myself that I will never change this, so I am teaching Edie that he is going by “Ĺ alina”, so he will not forget his Moravian roots 🙂 …… but he has already perfect pronunciation of “Heleeeee vidiiiis!”
  • I had to arrange a couple of things, but also I have to admit that all the administrative people in Prague 9-Liben were nice and helpful and all the people around too. We managed: 1) Parking card for our car, 2) Get our cards for public transportation, 3) Searched and found the nursery for Edie, 4) Found a very nice kids doctor, 5) We now know where to shop, repair our shoes, where to go to play outdoor, 6) We got our internet, 7) Repaired the heating system, 8) Got fixed also some electricity plugs, 9) Arrange all the rest of the things in our home, 10) and finally I will have first meeting because of Skupiner next week and also because of our start up Lyoness.net……so everything is going in the right way.
  • Now I just started to feel, that very gooood feeling of having my own home. Of not getting tired of cleaning, cooking and taking care of my darlings. It is such a boosting moment to feel…. yes now I am finally building my family, thing which are or are not around me are because of my effort and what I want in some way is done in that way. I LOVE THAT FEELING.
  • So, everyone who is coming to Prague, feel free to contact me. I will be happy to share time with you, to talk, to bring new ideas and introduce new business opportunities which we can all build together. Because right now I start to understand more that “together we are strong” and only together with friends, with business partners, with family we can get what we want. Carlos was sharing with me an importnat idea that: “First we have to get independent and just after that we can get interdependent”. And this power of synergy will then lead us and guide us through any obstacle.

Sooooo KEEP MOVING and believe me after I heard, “ohhhh you have it soo difficult to move the whole your family…” I just started to ask myself:  Is it really more difficult for me? Or perhaps it is for the people around me who never took that step before in their life and just stayed bitching about stereotypes in their life? And about loosing me from their circle………

I just got also one nice learning: Because of the moving, I found so many non-usefull things around me which I trashed on the way or gave away to someone who might need it more, so many things that were surrounding my family that I strongly believe that I also left some of the heavy thought and obstacles behind.

So now with a free mind is goot time to continue building what I started before.

See you in Prague!
