Kids start to learn from the point where we as parents just finished
Learning point
Have you ever thought about the learning speed in which are kids learning? And how they are learning? There were written tons of books and notes in the internet. But I was just thinking a bit more about smart sentence which mentioned my old friend. Who is now father of 2 kids and 3 grandchildren.
He said: “Kids are born with the knowledge we know now and starts to learn and study from the point we have just finished!”
If you consider this, it has such a deep meaning. At least it had for me that moment. Because if I see my sons, specially the little one. Edie is supporting his brother a lot. With his patience, with his explanations what Carlitos should and should not do. And we are just lifting the family knowledge as such. Carlitos he takes to his hands any devise, just with pure curiosity he is exploring how laptop work, or browsing on smart phone. That is exactly the point where we are now, we are learning to use this devises and he just simply grows with the knowledge how to. He has it in his DNA.
Imagine if we would have the same persistance and patience to learn new things and we would be the same way error resistent like our little once. Can you imagine how much we would be happier and that word “problem” would not exist at all.
Because anyway “There are no problems at all, there are just situations which has to be solved!”
I would just wish for all of us that we would learn more from our kids and that we would obtain more of their energy and patience. Because nobody was born with borders to do what ever he wants. And it is just our foult that we are putting limits to our heads.

Carlitos talking
Dear friends
its time to write few lines again. It has been long time ago since I did not share with you what is new. And now I can see that many things happened. And just because our memory is short lasting, I will rather put everything here.
Today I decided to share with you funny vocabulary of Carlitos. He is now 20 month old, but he starte to talk since 1,5 year.
His most often words are:
- Mami papat (Mami eat) – that I hear everyday morning at 6am when he wakes up 🙂 or he says “Ham”
- Čaj (tea) and Kakao (Cacao)
- Agua (water)
- Mačinkaaaa (train)
- Auto (car)
- Kululuk (ball)
- Abajo (dolů)
- Michy Michy (mixing movement)
- Diky (Thank you)
- Aaaaaa (He di pii) = when he does something in his diapper he claps on his diaper and keeps saying “Aaaaaa”
- Papi (dady)
- Babi (Grandma)
- Kajo (Carlitos)
- Edy (Eduardo)
- Malinky (small)
- A hormir = to go to sleep in Czech “Spinkat” or “haji”
- Houpi (to swing)
- Tany tany (to dance) – in his language also means to switch on smart phone where is piano game which he can play with
- Boty (shoes)
In general he understans everything, he just does that he doesn’t understand :). He loves to take stuff from fridge on his own, if he is hungry and fridge became his place to came and just be staring like on TV :)…….what cool I can eat.
Carlitos eats once in a day he starts at 6 am and ends at 8 pm before going to bed. He wakes up with the words “Mami Papat!” and I stars my day with preparing oat meal for him. What I can recommend to moms of this kind of “all the time hungry kids” is to have ready some small snack close by to your bed as I do. In order to stay in bed few minutes longer 🙂 while he/she eats his snack.
Carlitos is lovely. Nicely playing with Eduardo, he is teasing him and stealing his stuff. Edie learn more or less how to deal with Carlitos, and more than fighting they are playing together – making train, constructing from cubics and drawing.
As last I want to mention Carlitos skills:
1. major skill – to keep painting on whatever he has in his hands, if he does not have something he uses wall, furniture and if nothing he is painting his hands, legs or clothes – it hink he will love art. Soon I will put him into some painting courses just for his fun and joy
2. major skill – dancing and crawling over anything – he loves music. He loves to sing in his way and dance. He usually stands in front of radio or TV and keep saying “tany tany”. While he switches it on or he asks Carlos to switch on piano game on his smartphpone which he can listen and play with.
And because I could play with words all the time I have for you prepared another post full of smart things worth to consider and learn. So for now. Enjoy with Carlitos and his first speaking time.

Carlitos story board of the age 1 year and 4 month
Year and 4 months that is time worth to say another part of Carlitos life story
Dear family, readers and friends. I have been sooo busy last recently that I did not have much time to write what is going on. But I am taking my time now and I am going to share with you the biggest improvements which has happened since we celebrated Carlitos 1st year
Definitely he has grown a lot he is wearing size of 74 cm
Carlitos is very skilfull, he is eating on his own, he is walking down and up the stairs on his own, he is able to climb any roller coaster and also he is able to go up the slide and down without any help. Sometimes happens that some moms are astonished by his skills and asking me his age. And nobody can believe me that he is only 1 year and something.
He started to speak. Soooo funny. He is constantly mumbling something. But his first words were Co to je? (What is this), Kde to je? (Where it is?) He is saying it very clearly. Another words are Hola and Ahoj, while welcoming friends and saying papapap together with waving with his small palm. He started to say Auto and Aqua. He while asking for something we teached him not to yell at us rather to do a gesture of Please with his hands. He understands that very well and uses that gesture.
He is running. Everywhere and climbing everything. He loves to walk so he is not able to sit for long time. Even while visiting mountains we had to let him walk for some time before putting him simply just to carrier.
He is very social. He loves to play with another kids, especially girls since they are softer. He loves to be pampered and caressed. He loves to kiss me, to be hugging me and others like Edie. He likes him a lot his big brother and Edie is taking care of him too. If I come to pick Edie from kinder and all kids are running to drag Carlitos away from me, Edie is taking care of him and protecting him. He does not have easy time with Carlitos, because he is usually destroying his lego constructions just for curiosity. And that is only thing what they are fighting for together. Because contrary they are going wery well with each other.
Simply all the best for him. I am already not feeding him. I stopped on august 5th after 15 month as with Edie and I think is good for him.
He started to sleep a bit better, waking up only because of thirst during the night. But he drinks and sleeps until morning. His usual waking up time is 6:45 until 7:20 latest. After I try to give him some bread or something to keep him a bit longer in bed but impossible. He loves to wake up early and be active.
That is all from now I think. I will now go to bed and dream about my family and big things which are waiting for us to happen.
Kids friendly restaurants in Prague,
Hi dear parents,
After long search I have done I decided to put together all different search findings about Family friendly restaurants in Prague. And if I mean family friendly I mean where they are really prepared for kids, not just by food but also by entertainment so you can calmly eat your food becuse your child will be properly and safely entertained.
Prague restaurants
Vytopna – restaurant where the food is served by little trains all around the restaurant. It is entertainment not only for kids but also for adults 🙂 nad what more, This restaurant is located totally in the city centre of Prague in Venceslav square in Palac Fenix. – Check cuisine
Majak (Lighthouse – family restaurant) – another great restaurant, but further from down town, but great place for kids is Majak. This restaurant is really greatly equipped for kids, because you can freely enjoy and your kids will play and play and play. Check them out and you will see. Prices are bit more expensive, but for enjoyment it is worth it :), Mixed cuisine more mediterain and Italien.
AMBIENTE – Pizza Nuovo – very nice restaurant with nice kids corner, during the weekend while beeing full they have also lady which takes care of the kids so again you can calmly enjoy the food which is delicious. Restaurant is located straightly on the Namesti Republiky metro, line B yellow so again in the down town. Be just aware, this reastaurant is very popular so call prior hand to be sure to get your seats. Food is Italien and delicious, prices are fine though a bit expensive.
Family trip to Krkonose (Giant mountains)
Dar friend, family and followers,
let me give you some hint for not only family holiday in our beautiful mountain area Krkonoše (Giant mountains).
We have spend great week up north and I truly believe that this was amazing time also for our sons, who enjoyed too. They are soo active till now, they have walked tens of Kms and took some tent and got such a apatite that I was cooking all the time something. Specially Carlitos, the little one, he became walking very well, climbing even better and eating on his own, since I was too slow to feed him 🙂
So which places I am suggesting to you to go and see.
Location for accomodation: I would suggest you Trutnov, if you are bz car, as many families will be, you can easily reach many interesting places within radius of 25 Km which means 20-30 min drive, Pleasure. Trutnov is nice little town, where you can enjoy everything like in a city but still being in the nature. It is also junction for busses and trains, so if you do not want to drive or you want to use bicycle or motorbike, you can easily take train or bus from there and cycle just in your chosen destination.
Mill Dřevíček = beautiful old mill with still functioning machine for milling, The guide is able to not only tell you whole story about the process, but also demonstrate you the milling process. Eduardo did not want to leave the performance. He was astonished 🙂
Weaving Museum (Dům pod Jasanem) = another great and authentic museum with hand on training how to weave. It is small home based museum where the owner has 5 kids of hers, she makes very nice ceramic and other craft stuff and her house is very cozy. From Trutnov is like 10 min ride. For kids she has prepared as a guide our famous book (Krtek a Kalhotky) so kids can easily follow whole process. I love that, I tried how to weave same as Edie. He could be good weaver I think.
Jasné Lázně together with cable car trip to Černá Hora = I believe that this trip would appreciate everybody who loves mountains not only in summer but also in the winter time. We choose summer for now because of our kids but I saw that they are well prepared also for winter. Janske lazne are small spa city where you can relax, take some ice cream and refresh yourself in the several restaurants. It is lovely place to see and take lunch. After you can take a cable car which will take you up the Cerna hora where you can visit watch tower and after follow through the reservation of KRNAP (Krkonose National Park) = it is very beautiful place to go if there is nice weather you can see far far to the nature to Poland and Germany. This hill has 1299 m above the see level. After you can continue around on the short walk of about 3 km which will take you to the peat bog/morse. Very nice walk. Since Eduardo loves water and forest he was very happy about this trip. He was constantly bathing some brunches in the streams alongside the path and listening singing birds etc. Carlitos was happy too, because Carlos was carrying him in the back carrier = this tip is at least one day.
Merkur Museum = for everybody who loves LEGO kind of games, logical and inventive, then this place is exactly for you. Carlos together with his sons got lost there for an hour just playing and ensambling different machines, from iron peaces and screws and nuts. This museum is made for you to have rough idea what was the story about, who invented this game and what everything possible and impossible you can made out of it. There you can find also beautiful iron city with moving trains. For bad weather great think to do with your kids and also as adult.
Adršpach (Teplicko adršpašské skály) = Whole world is comming to see this. The STONE CITY. It si wonderful place to go and see. There are different stone monumets, storeis around. The road around has around 3.5 Km, so if Eduardo managed you will also and during the way you will manage around 600 stairs. Lookes too much, no…you will not feel that. There are soo many beautiful wonders, that you will not recognize that you have walked that much. This is beautiful half day trip. I recomed this to everybody.
So I hope that this post will be usefull for everybody who is going to travel for one week to the krkonose region and I will add here also our family album, so you can see which kind of places were worth to visit as we did.

For the little BIG boys and their manhood
My willie, muj “vilik”
I decided to wrote some funn stuff here and just to relax from serious life going around me. I was just having infront of my eyes naked Eduardo which was exploring his “manhood” as little young boys usually do in this age. OK, he is 3 years old.
I already know that his “vili” is big and strong. I already know that he likes himself and I already know that he loves to be naked and enjoy his freedom.
And based on this all I decided to wrote a short poem. Sorry, it will be in czech, for every non speakers 🙂 But I had my artistic moment in Czech.

Mám svého Vilíka rád,
je to můj věrný kamarád.
Držíme se spolu za ruce,
prožíváme všechny emoce.
Máma chce, abych nosil slipy,
já ale chci běhat nahatý.

Intro of companies making creative toys for kids
Creativity…..the most amazing thing in human being life
I love creative people who are able to stand out of the crowed and come up with something new special and beneficial for the rest of society.
Today within the kids day here in Prague I visited the “crazy market” in Atelier Pexeso. There were presenting different “mother companies” their creative work for kids. And because I would be able to buy everything to my kids, though my budget is not that large I decided to share with you at least their websites. So you can check their work too and buy something special for your kids if you will like it as much as I did.
PEPETO – http://www.pepeto.cz – is custom made “original rainbow trains and railes” – if you like some trail rail you can just tell them and they will create the same as toy for your child. I think that this is great gift for special occasion like christmas or Bday gift.
UNLIMITED DESIGN – http://www.unlimited-design.cz – another great idea. They use carton to create different furniture, boards and he best is that is is light durable and very stylish peace of furniture or decoration to your kids room. I loved that. I would love to buy this think for Edie. Good that he can not read yeat 🙂
LEPEETO – kids decoration. Another cool design stuff. If you are already bored by the traditional stuff which you can buy in the stores you can go for this. Such a cute and for me quite smooth, clean, fresh and still funny design. They are creating stickers on the wall, self sticking boars – cools tuff – you can sticked in anywhere, also they have stickers to the bathroom and also magnets.
BABY OLÉ = my dear friend Gema was having her small collection of clothes of original design “Fashion for small people with big personalities” as they say. So of course I choose very nice shirt with parrot for Edie. I could not help myself. I will take picture of him later, Now i will at least show you the one 🙂 on somebody else………….
So yah that was or time going around and enjoying with my dear our kids day. So we ended up with many presents but the most importantly is that we have found very cool stuff an got to know new friends and possibilities to be creative.

YOU ARE WHO YOU MEET WITH
TELL ME WITH WHOOM YOU SPEND YOUR TIME AND I WILL TELL YOU WHO YOU ARE ……….
That is actually fraze I did not want to believe for long time..until I saw how importnat is to meet right people in the right time which can change not only the way of your being but also thinking.
That’s why I started my mission for meeting nice people, surround myself with smart individuals, starting from active mothers and ending by succesfull businessmen.
So the good first step is that I started to attend very practical and cool conceptual place for working mothers called Atelier Pexeso which anables me to work and be in the touch with enterpreneurial mothers like I am.
I LOVE THEIR MOTO: “S mamou do prace? jeee, to bude legrace!”
Second very coll things happened to me during the weekend, where I have been on the seminar held by our Lyoness president Jaroslav Pilny and his wife Beata….graet people, great news and great new connections I have build.
And as Donal Trup said: Think BIG and kick ASS in Business and personal life
Just one learning from this for all of us which I got. There really matters what you do in yout life, what dreams you try to reach by everyday of your acction and the most important to whoom you meet on daily basis. If we keep only bitching that things are not going the way they should and we will not face the reality that only us is the person which can change it……….nothing will ever change.
So lets started and make it happened.
I am ONE year old boy Carlitos
Imagine history goes over and over again
And one year after I am writing again that my son is ONE year old. But now this story will be all devoted to Carlitos. My little big angel.
How it started:
Some facts:
- Carlitos weight is nearly 9 Kg, his length is 75cm. He has dark brown hair, his skin is nicely tent no matter on the weather. HIs eyes are huge dark round moons and his smile is big as cut melon.
- Carlitos is sun of our days. Together with Edie created great couple. Carlitos in his early life managed quite lot of accomplishments. He was forced to be better and better every day by his brother so he is developing very fast. He is already able to crawl perfectly, he started to walk a bit, he is climbing what ever you can see and he loves the most to climb the bed from there to table and reach the window is his daily mission.
- He likes his routine. He LOVES eating, in Czech I would call him OTESANEK, there is nothing what he would not like to eat. Already now with his 8 teeth he is able to chew from meat to vegetables and fruits, creckers and other hard and soft stuff. Iam happy that he is eating everything even things which he should not, like sand from the san yards, dirt from the ground and he is also chewing everything…his most favourite things are shoes of his own or anybody else, tooth brush and holders from the wardrobe shelfs.
- Also he still enjoyes milk also. I am not that strict with him like I was with Edie. I have to admit that since I have feeling that he might be a last baby of ours I try to enjoy breastfeeding and physical contact with my baby. I give him milk as much as he is asking for. sometimes 4 to 6 times per day. Always just shortly but a bit if he is already crawling over me and putting his head on my chest. It is soooo easy to read that he wants to have a small “shot” that if he is teething, if he is already tired or thirsty I just simply give him a bit.
- He is total “tremendoso” “pixy” as Spanish language has this beautiful word. Because always when I am teling him NO, he is just smiling at me. It takes quite long time for him and my strong voice sometimes also slap over his hands to make him understand that there are things which he is not supposed to do. REALLY…….he is such a smily baby an easy going :)…..though he started to have his protesting behavior. He lies down to a floor and tries to scream. But it does not last long.
- Carlitos same as Edie is very but very social. He loves mom of course the most so he still suffers from mommitis kind of. If I am not in the room he can play with anybody for hours with no problem. As soon as I appear he runs after me and sometimes start to cry a bit. Just like “Where where you”?…….. but almost anytime he is happy to meet new people. He is able to look deeply into the eyes of the others people and see the good insight. Because people tends to smile at him and play with him Hide and seek. So I believe that he has kind of positiv aura around himself.
- Many women told me that he is be a heart killer because of his eyes and smile….so I am getting ready for it. So thats why I am kissing him a lot and hugging him as much as I can in order to enjoy this unique time.
