Creating routine in babies life

Routine & Habits

Babies are routine lovers in general and I have proved that already on my son. I have read that babies love to do routine things and I have to confess that there are certain things which babies remember.

I remember the time when I brought my son home. He was this little tiny and fragile baby, which wanted to be fed, changed, hugged, cared and everything again. In the early beginning he was not able to recognize whether there is day or night. He was driven only by my rhythm. He went to bed when I went and he calmed down when he felt that I calmed down too and went to sleep with him. But little by little I saw on him that he is getting used to his regime. I set the certain time for bathing him which is between 7-8 pm everyday. In the beginning he was not used to it and even after the bath he calmed down but only for short period, after the bath-top swimming and breath-feeding he usually fall a asleep for 30 minutes and than he could have played again. But now after 4 month he got used to that and I can easily observed that he calms down much more and after the bathing routine he is swank in his home cradle and fall a sleep.

It is such a great picture to see him satisfied and sleeping like a angel. And it has another advantage. I have some time to write this blog and do another things which I would love to do 🙂

Routine creation is also important part of babies psychical development so we as parents should not abandon it!
